Time for another styled shoot! This particular shoot was for Utah Bride Blog and featured this lovely gown from Mikaella Bridal. The addition of a mid-century lounge space, metal accents, and a bright backdrop made the perfect combination for this industrial wedding.
We love Mikaella gowns, and they fit so well for an industrial style wedding! This lovely gem, named Margo, is a crepe dress with an a-line fit and amazing train. It’s simple elegance really makes this bride shine. Check out some more of our Mikaella gowns if you are drawn to the chic simplicity of this beautiful piece.
We love the simple geometric style this couple used in their wedding! The shapes really bring a modern glam and industrial feel that compliment the gown so beautifully.
Even their cake looks like it is cut from a beautiful slab of marble! From the lighting to the decor and, more importantly, to the dress, this couple knocked it out of the park as far as the industrial style is concerned!
If you’re loving this look and want to find a gown of your own to compliment this elegant style give us a call or schedule an appointment here and we can discover the gown to elevate your industrial wedding! Special thanks to Jalene Taylor for the amazing photography!
We have the pleasure of showcasing a trunk show from Marina Semone from January 26th to February 4th!
Trunk shows are always super fun for everyone! We love getting to try out these fabulous gowns and showing amazing brides something a little new and different! Check out some of these fantastic finds from Semone’s collection!
Our last trunk show with Claire Le Faye was absolutely fantastic with their “luxury with an edge” look, but with Marina Semone you can experience a romantic look inspired by climbing vines, hidden trails, and abandoned ruins. These elegant gowns are perfect for a bride who wants a vintage inspired look with a dash modern flair!
We adore these wispy romantic looks, and we can’t wait to see them on real brides!! Give us a call, or visit us here to book an appointment when the trunk show comes in so you can try these gorgeous gowns on!
Anyone else wishing that Fall Colors would get here a little faster? I mean who doesn’t want to be a real life meme by curling up on their couch with a pumpkin spiced latte and a cozy blanket.
I am just aching for sweater weather and knee-high boots. Are you wistful for crisp cool air and changing leaves like me? Then take a look at this gorgeous styled shoot. It features one of our favorite model, Jordan Blackhurst. Several of our shoots featured her lovely work.
This shoot is unique in that it is outdoors but maintains the simplicity of an indoor, industrial shoot. The colors are incredible and I just can’t get over the use of light.
This beautiful mocha colored gown is from the Tara Keely line – designed by Lazaro. The chunky lace on the bodice is offset by a skirt of soft organza.
With a plunging neckline and open back, this dramatic gown is not for the faint of heart.
Most people prefer full color photos but I have to admit that I am a sucker for a good black-and-white! I love the details and contrast that you pick up in a colorless image. But, these photos are absolutely gorgeous no matter the color.

Its time for another installment in our Hayley Paige saga. We’ve taken a detailed look at 3 Blush by Hayley Paige gowns and we are still waiting for our last one, Kingston, to come in. Today, we have Dakota, our second to last gown and the second gown featuring Marrakesh Beading.
The other gown in our inventory to feature Marrakesh is West. As you can see there are many obvious differences such as silhouette, straps and amount of Marrakesh. But one that is not so obvious is the difference in lining colors. West’s lining is Cashmere and Dakota’s is Nude.
Dakota is from the most recent season of Blush by Hayley Paige. It has the very sought after demure skirt paired with a very princess-y bodice.
For Utah brides, this dress is an excellent option if you need a modest gown. We can very easily order the Marrakesh beading and make the bodice modest without losing the integrity of the design and without having it look like piecework.
Silhouette: Ball Gown
Waistline: Natural – it actually falls just below the natural waist but not low enough to be a “corset” waist.
Straps: Cap Sleeves
Fabric: Marrakesh beaded bodice and tulle skirt
Sparkle Factor: 4/5
The Marrakesh Beading is very obvious and the only way for it to be more sparkly is if it covered the whole gown.
Boho Factor: 1/5
This gown reaches clearly to the “princess” side of the spectrum. There is a little bit of a Boho vibe from the lace and relaxed silhouette of the ballgown but that’s about it.
I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this gown. Now that it’s here… it is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
I think it is such a fresh and flawless design from Miss Hayley Paige. What are your thoughts?
Every so often we have fan-girl moments over specific designers. Recently, all of us at Bitsy Bridal have been obsessing over Tulle New York. Designed by Antonio Gual, these gowns have caught our eye and our hearts with their simple elegance and sleek lines. Our favorite of the bunch is Erin, a trumpet gown with a sweetheart neckline and architectural seaming. Come in and see exactly why we love these dresses so much, but before then, here are 5 amazing things that go hand in hand with your Tulle New York Gown.
Tulle New York gowns are made from very high quality materials. Silk chiffon is soft to the touch, and Silk Shantung provides an effortless structural aspect to your gown. Because they are made from natural silk, the materials have the ability to breathe and have an airy quality that lesser quality fabrics can’t provide. No matter the material, Tulle New York gowns are matched with amazing quality: not only in their fabrics and finishes, but also in their craftsmanship.
Antonio Gual knows how to flatter the figure! Each dress has its own breathtaking nuances, but the architectural seaming throughout the collection is front and center in these gowns. Figure hugging gowns such as Erin, play with flattering lines and cuts that emphasize your best qualities and show off your curves.
Tulle New York specializes in that old Hollywood glam vibe mixed with a modern simplicity. These two aspects put together is the making of a fabulous dress. It’s a common idea that a dress doesn’t need to be over the top to be memorable. But if you are looking for that ‘WOW’ moment, Antonio Gual also specializes in colorful and bold laces that make you stand out from the crowd. Gold lace, colorful fabrics, and stunning beadwork amp up your wedding day attire from a dress, to a show stopping gown.
Custom Made for You
An amazing aspect of a dress is the fact that it is yours, and only yours. Tulle New York helps you make a dress yours by adding the ability to customize your very own gown. Love the bodice of one gown, but the skirt of another? Make it your own by combining the two with a customized look. Want to go with a less traditional look? Ask about all the color options we can provide with a silk gown! The possibilities are endless.
With a Tulle New York gown, you know that you are getting a gown that is classy, elegant, and that will never go out of style. These gowns are timeless. When you look back at pictures from your wedding day, you want a dress that will withstand the test of time. Elegance and sophistication never go out of style, and Tulle New York is just that: timeless.
We have been looking forward to this for weeks, pouring over dress pictures and painstakingly picking the gowns we think you will love the most.
The gowns will be coming in one at a time over the next weeks and months so we are introducing them as they arrive. First on the list is this little number: her name is West.
Silhouette: Fit to Flare
Fabric/Finish: Cashmere lining and Marrakesh beading
Neckline: Elongated Sweetheart
Back: Low scoop
Boho level: 3/5
How can you not love this? Seriously.
But for real, if you had an answer for that question, just go away… I’ll wait.
That’s right, it’s AMAZING. Say it with me now…. Marrakesh Beading……. from top to bottom!
With the stellar fit, low back and the perfect amount of sparkle, I’m not sure how Miss Hayley Paige could have improved upon this design.
West is a phenomenal design. Not just because she is drop-dead gorgeous but because she is such a universal design. She appeals to the “princess” brides who are looking for drama, sparkle, and a little more drama. She also has such strong bohemian elements with the off white coloring and abstract beading that trendy brides are losing it! West is perfect because she walks the line between classic and bold.
As for me, my favorite part of the entire gown is the cut. I love the neckline, where it hits the legs to flare out into a perfectly rounded skirt, and most of all I love that back. I am a sucker for a low-back gown. But for real, who isn’t?

In May, we were lucky enough to host a trunk show for one of the favorite bridal lines among stylists and Bitsy Brides: Tara Keely. Part of the JLM design house and designed by Lazaro Perez, Tara Keely is for the sophisticated and timeless bride who is not afraid to make a statement.
The new season is To. Die. For. The girls here were literally drooling over the newest designs. The official pictures are not out yet but I just couldn’t wait to give you a taste so…. without further ado…. here are five things to expect from the new season of Tara Keely.
Sleeves were a rare luxury among bridal designers over the past several years but they have been making a comeback in the most recent seasons. In my opinion, the JLM design house (which includes Tara Keely) does sleeves better than most. You will find dainty cap sleeves and long, lace, masterpiece sleeves in the newest collection.
2 – Sparkle
If you thought it was impossible to have a sparkled dress without looking like a chandelier or like a 4 year old playing dress up then you have never tried on a gown designed by Lazaro Perez. With cascading waves of sparkle and perfectly placed belts or jewels, each dress with the addition of shine is made with the utmost regard for taste and sophistication.

3 – A-Line Perfection
There is a reason it is the most requested silhouette. ALine gowns flatter nearly every body type. They are feminine and elegant without being hard to manage or overdone. A Line is classic and gives you a lot of wiggle room to show your personality with the gown design, which is exactly what happens with a Tara Keely gown. With a design channeling Princess Diana hanging next to a bohemian beauty, there is a gown for everyone in this collection.
4 – Lush Materials
Tara Keely always has amazing fabrics and finishes but this season is particularly spectacular. I am in love with the use of Silk Shantung I am finding. Shantung is an amazing material with just enough luster and the perfect amount of drape to easily be worn in a formal or whimsical affair.

5 – Bohemian Charm
I am particularly critical of boho-style dresses. Just not my favorite. I will however have to admit that I am drooling over Tara Keely’s bohemian additions to this season.
Get ready ladies, this season is going to be AMAZING!
I walked in to work on Friday and legitimately did a happy dance. I am not just saying that: I dropped my purse and started grooving to music only I could hear. Why? Because I saw this beauty:
Meet IDELLA! This gorgeous design from Kelly by Kelly Faetanini has been haunting my dreams ever since she was cruelly ripped from the store a few months ago. We were lucky enough to have her in the boutique for a trunk show but we only just got her in permanently. Joining Idella are 4 other dresses that we carefully picked to join our collection, all from Kelly by Kelly Faetanini.
K by KF is an amazing line that I am head-over-heels in love with. It is unashamedly girly, sophisticated, and daring.
I’m so in love <3<3
