Modest Wedding Dresses

Stylist Picks: Temple Wedding

Hello Gorgeous!

It’s hard to pick a favorite gown when you’re in this line of work. You love so many for different reasons, so the girls at Bitsy have decided to do a series showing you all our favorite gowns for different types of weddings. Today, Morgan and I wanted to start with our favorite picks for a temple wedding.

Ballgown/A-line

Emerald from Saphia Blue by ECD

  • Cap sleeve
  • Pointed tulle skirt
  • Lace bodice over gray or ivory satin lining

Why we love her:

Becca: “I adore Emerald because she comes in a soft gray color (as well as Ivory) which is so chic and on trend. It makes the lace on the bodice pop and can really show off a bride’s skin tone.”

Morgan: “Emerald makes my heart sing! Emerald’s skirt is as soft as a cloud, and I always find an excuse to touch it. There is nothing better than a gorgeous dress that is also soft and comfortable!”

A-line/Fit & Flare

Brook by Elizabeth Cooper Designs (coming soon)

  • All-over lace
  • Long sleeve and scoop neck
  • Rose or Light Ivory

Why we love her:

Morgan: “Brook has a simple elegance that is so effortless. This gown is so sleek, without being boring. The continuous waistline is fantastic at showing off your natural beauty, without going over the top!”

Becca: “My favorite thing about Brook is the fit. The way she softly flows through the waist and barely hugs the hips is just perfect. And the sleeves! I can’t forget those sleeves, they are so simple and yet absolutely stunning.”

Fitted:

Pearl from Saphia Blue by ECD

  • V Neck
  • All over beaded lace
  • Rose or Ivory

Why we love her:

Becca: “Everything about Pearl is to. die. for. I love the lace, the solid sleeves, the train detailing. She has so many great elements.”

Morgan: “I’m a sucker for a blush dress, and Pearl does blush beautifully! The lace has that roaring 20’s/old Hollywood glam vibe that is so unique! I adore it!”

There are so many amazing modest dresses to choose from (plus you can always customize a dress to meet your modesty needs) and these are just a few of them. Do you love one of these gowns as much as we do? Let us know!
