This amazing bride wore “Gemma” from Enchanting by Mon Cheri. Enchanting is one of our most budget friendly collections. Their style ranges from clean and classic to edgy and whimsical. Mon Cheri has a variety of options that will fit any style or location. Amy worked with our in-house alterations team to create her unique sleek modest wedding dress.

Gemma began as a sleeveless satin fit to flare gown. The bateau neckline features a small slit in the center. The high back is perfect for modesty and a chic look. The hand-beaded belt sits at the natural waist, which defines the best features of all brides. The chapel train finishes off this beautiful gown. Gemma all around is a very sleek and classic gown that is perfect for the sophisticated bride.

Amy worked with our in-house alterations seamstress to turn this gown into a sleek modest wedding dress. We began by removing the hand-beaded belt from the waist. However, a thinner belt was added in its place. This belt still defined the waistline, but played more into Amy’s vision of her dream gown. Next, we added 3/4 length sleeves to make this gown temple ready. Our seamstress used the same satin fabric to create a cohesive look. Finally, small pearls and rhinestones were added to the edge of the sleeves. This small detail turned the sleeves into their own accessory and finished off this clean and classic look.
