Meet our real #BitsyBride, Deidre! On her dreamy wedding day at the Tracy Aviary, Deidre wore a horsehair hem champagne wedding dress from our shop, Bitsy Bridal, in Salt Lake City, Utah. This gown is by the renowned designer, Lazaro, and is a ballgown silhouette.

This gown also has a fully beaded bodice and a sexy low back with crisscross details. Lazaro is famous for the wow factor he adds to his gowns. In this gown, the crystal-beaded bodice is fitted tightly to the waist, and the full ballgown skirt contrasts with the tight bodice to draw attention to the smallest part of the bride’s waist. A ballgown wedding dress is flattering on many body-types for this reason.

The champagne color of this wedding dress is also a universally flattering color. This horsehair hem champagne wedding dress has a deep golden undertone to the lining that ensures the color of the gown and the bride’s skin tone will not be washed out in pictures.

The horsehair hem on the skirt is the approximately three inch long trim at the bottom of each layer of the skirt. This trim is a piece of stiff material that helps the skirt hold its shape. This is especially important on a wedding gown that features a handkerchief hem like this Lazaro wedding dress..
