Meet our Bitsy Bride, Maci.

This beautiful bride wore Calais by Aire Barcelona. Aire Barcelona is a designer who does an excellent job at taking classic details and adding a Spanish flair to it. Calais showcases this attention to detail in a wonderful way. The illusion back on this gown is a show-stopping addition to this dress.

Calais features a large illusion back that is the focal point of this gown. Lace appliqués were placed over the illusion tulle, which gives a tattoo-like effect. This illusion back ends just above the hips and mimics a large open-back feel. The sweetheart neckline sits atop an illusion tulle, therefore, it gives the opportunity for appliqué placement across the chest and up the shoulders. Calais’ lace bodice stops about mid hip, and then trickles into subtle lace placement. The flared skirt of Calais is made out of a tulle material to give movement to Calais. The buttons down the back give a beautiful finishing touch.

Maci opted to keep this stunning gown in its original form. She only needed a few minor touch-ups to make this gown fit her like a glove. However, our in-house alterations team can modify any gown to turn it in to your dream wedding dress. Whether that be a simple nip and tuck or a full modest build up.
