Meet Skylar, our real #BitsyBride. Skylar chose a lace fitted wedding dress, Rosalind, from our designer Ella Rosa, a favorite here at Bitsy Bridal. Rosalind is a traditional style wedding dress that features corded Alencon- style lace on tulle over a layer of Chantilly lace. This layering of lace creates a multi-dimensional look on Skylar’s perfect wedding gown. Many brides picture themselves on their wedding day in that traditional sparkly, lacy wedding gown and we are so happy that we achieved that vision for Skylar. Click here so we can do the same for you!
About the designer of this lace, fitted wedding dress:
Ella Rosa is the little sister of Kenneth Winston. Kenneth Winston offers their main line, Kenneth Winston Couture, and Ella Rosa. Ella Rosa still features the traditional charm of the KW main line, but with softer features such as less heavy embellishments, and a lower price point. Some brides do not want heavy beading and crystals, and Ella Rosa is the perfect line for them.
Skylar’s pup loves her wedding dress as much as she does! The hem of this wedding gown features Alencon-style lace appliques that take this look to a whole new level! The appliques layered over the middle layer of lace creates a delicate wow factor. Look at that gorgeous hem on the train, and that cute doggy face!

This magnificent bride wore “Wendy” by Kenneth Winston. This designer does a brilliant job at classic sparkle, and Wendy’s detail is tribute to that. With the help of our alterations team, Jill was able to wear a beautiful beaded modest dress.
This gown began as a sleeveless sheath gown with finger-width straps and a low rounded back. Wendy’s neckline mimics a sweetheart look, but has a mesh detail that gives it more of a v-neckline. This stunning gown is beaded throughout in a diamond pattern and radiates a Gatsby feeling. The entire look is finished off with a small train of the same gorgeous beading.
Take a look at how Wendy began.
Jill worked with our alterations team to turn this beaded beauty into a modest piece of art. Our seamstress needed to do a complete rebuild of the bodice to turn it into a modest wedding gown. When a bride needs a complete rebuild, we start by drawing out a design that works with her vision. Then, we build a rough model of the new bodice, once the bride approves we can begin attaching it to the skirt and adding the necessary embellishments. For Jill this meant creating a scoop back that sat high on the back and a v-neckline. Finally, Jill went with a small cap sleeve to complete this brand new bodice. The new creation was beaded with the same design and detail that the skirt has. With the help of our alterations team, Jill was able to wear a stunning beaded modest dress.
Tamara Jennings Photography did an amazing job at capturing Jill in her custom gown during her bridals.
This wonderful bride wore Renee by Ella Rosa. Kenneth Winston designs the Ella Rosa collection. Similarly, this collection holds the same design integrity as the couture collection. Renee shows the beautiful work Kenneth Winston does. Hannah added to the beauty of this gown by adding modest long lace sleeves.
Renee begins as a column gown with a floral lace pattern throughout. The v-neckline is edged with a floral scallop that continues up into the sleeves. The cap sleeve is created on a see through mesh, which follows into the back. This same mesh is used to give the illusion of an open back. The beautiful floral lace edges the back opening. Buttons finish this look, and run down the length of the back to the middle of the skirt. In addition, Renee comes with an optional belt, that adds a bit of sparkle to a classic gown.
Take a look at how Renee began.
Hannah worked with our in-house alterations team to build up this gown to be temple ready. Firstly, we began by filling in the see through back with ivory lining. The beautiful floral lace and buttons were still visible with this change. Our seamstress reconstructed the cap sleeves to compliment modest long lace sleeves. We added floral lace to the shoulders, which trickled down and throughout the sleeves. Finally, to finish off these lace sleeves, our seamstress added lace edging around the wrist bone. Hannah opted to wear the beaded belt during her bridals, which added a beautiful sparkle to her photos.
This beautiful bride wore “Rosalind” by Ella Rosa. The Ella Rosa collection is designed by Kenneth Winston, and his elegant flair shines through. Rosalind is stunning combination of two well known features in bridal and becomes a beautiful lace and beaded wedding gown.
Rosalind features corded Alencon Lace over a layer of Chantilly Lace. The Alencon Lace begins as a heavy lace on the bodice and trickles down the skirt to show off the Chantilly lace underneath. This breath-taking double layer of lace is a showstopper in any venue or setting. However, this style is breathtaking in Bryndi’s Log Haven venue. Rosalind’s v-neckline has a sweetheart lining that will compliment all brides and their best assets. The stunning low back shows off a see-through layer of lace that gives the illusion of a larger open back. The spaghetti straps of this gown bring a delicate feeling to the construction of Rosalind. Finally, the details on this gown are stunning! The beading is placed throughout the top layer, and sparkles in all angles. The buttons down the back finish off the entire look. This beaded wedding gown is one-of-a-kind in its details and construction.
Bryndi decided to keep Rosalind in its original form. However, she worked with our in-house alterations to get this gown to fit her perfectly. Our alterations team’s talents range from a complete build up to a nip and tuck. Any bride can find what they are looking for during our in-house alterations.
Both of these stunning brides wore gowns from Ella Rosa by Kenneth Winston. Ella Rosa is designed by Kenneth Winston and includes the sparkle and attention to detail found in his couture collection. Lauraine wore “Riley” and Caitlin wore “Rosalind”. These brides came in separately to pick their gowns to keep them a surprise from one another. However, they both unknowingly decided on the same designer!
Riley is a ballgown that features a sweetheart neckline and ruched bodice. The satin belt sits around the natural waist to emphasize the smallest part of a bride. This belt is accompanied by a beaded floral design. The English Netting gives this gown a romantic feel and allows for a lot of movement. Buttons down the length of the gown finish off the look of Riley. Lauraine chose a light gold color, but Riley is also available in traditional ivory.
Rosalind is a fitted gown that features a double layer of lace. The top layer is an Alencon lace that begins heavy in the bodice and trickles down the skirt. The next layer is a Chantilly lace that brings a sense of romance and delicacy to the look. Rosalind’s v-neckline has a sweetheart lining that will flatter all bust sizes. The stunning low back shows off a see-through layer of lace that gives the illusion of a larger open back. Finally, Rosalind has some incredible detail to finish off the look. The beading throughout the gown allows for a little bit of glimmer without being too overpowering. Also, the buttons down the back give a similar feel to Riley, but stop mid-skirt to compliment the fit of the gown.
Jadie Jo Photography did a fantastic job at capturing these brides in their gowns on their special day.
This beautiful bride wore “Remington” from Ella Rosa by Kenneth Winston. Ella Rosa is the sister brand of Kenneth Winston, and reflects the same design integrity. However, this brand is much more wedding budget friendly.
This gown originally features a beaded and lace bodice with a cap sleeve and sweetheart neckline. The illusion mesh on the back gives an open feeling, while staying covered. The lace bodice scallops along the edges and ends with eyelash lace details. The ballgown skirt is made of tulle and is edged with a delicate lace hem. Altogether, this gown has a fairy-tale feeling to it.
Here is how Remington started.
Nicole worked with our seamstress and our in-house alterations to create a beautiful sleeve. Our seamstress extended the illusion tulle out to Nicole’s wrists and then placed matching lace appliqués throughout the sleeve. Next, the appliqués were beaded to match the bodice and finally, the same eyelash detail was added to the end of the sleeve to finish the look. Nicole’s custom lace sleeves added a sense of elegance to this beautiful gown.
This magnificent bride wore “Rowan” by Ella Rosa. Ella Rosa is the little sister of Kenneth Winston, and offers the same couture look at a friendlier price. Rowan captures this designer’s well-known subtle design look perfectly. This gown originally includes an illusion back and beaded straps. However, Jaden worked with our in-house alterations team and made this gown a strapless beauty. She elected to keep the beaded bodice and clear beaded buttons that follow the length of the back, but turned the neckline into a classic sweetheart.
Here is a peek at how the gown originally begins.
The embroidered cotton lace is boho meets classic and is flattering in any setting, and the lace edging around the hem is a romantic dream. This gown is featured in light gold, but has the option for ivory.
Take a look at a few more of Jaden’s stunning strapless gown in her photos at the Capitol.
Our bride looks radiant in “Winston” by Kenneth Winston. Kenneth Winston Couture does a beautiful job with multi-layer detail. The longer you look at this dress, the more detail shines through. The bodice features a sweetheart neckline and a sheer back with exposed boning. The heavy beading slowly tapers out below the waist and gives this gown a look that screams royal. Under the top tulle layer on the ballgown skirt, is a layer strictly of sparkle. This gown glimmers in any light setting! The pattern on the bottom of the skirt helps tie the whole look together and is perfect for a bride who wants a jaw dropping gown.
Taylor paired this gown with a beaded belt and bling hair piece. Winston compliments added sparkle very well, or will be stunning on its own. Take a look at how amazing Taylor and her gown look in her southern wedding.
The beaded bodice features an illusion back and matching neckline. The scalloped detail along the edges gives the beading a softer look. In addition to the bodice, this ballgown skirt has a delicate lace edging that compliments the simplicity of the tulle material.
This gown originally has a layer of crinoline to give the skirt a fuller look. However, Elaine opted to remove this layer with our in-house seamstress to show a more relaxed look.
The Kenneth Winston line is part of the Private Label by G Bridal Design House. Which also houses the Ella Rosabridal line. They are known for impeccable fit and elaborate, glamorous designs. The twin brothers Kenneth and Winston collaborate together to create fabulous works of art!
