Our #BitsyBride, Amber, chose her perfect dress here at Bitsy Bridal in Salt Lake City, Utah! her perfect dress is West by Hayley Paige. West is a mermaid shaped gown with intricate beading all over the entire dress. Amber wore her West by Hayley Paige to her wedding at the Four Seasons in Hawaii and looked beautiful in it.
West is extremely popular among brides because of its signature HP flare. Hayley loves to make whimsical wedding gowns. This gown has a plunging neckline and is a backless wedding gown as well. This wedding gown is fully beaded with sequins.
If you are looking for the West Hayley Paige gown, Utah has only one retailer that carries it: Bitsy Bridal! Here at Bitsy Bridal, we know all of the ins and outs of our gowns, especially West by Hayley Paige as it is a staff favorite from its low back and intricate beading.
Loving the beading and low back on West by Hayley Paige, Utah is here for these trends. West is sparkly and beautiful, and here at our shop, we are even able to make it custom LDS modest for you if that is what you would like. We have a great relationship with the Hayley Paige team and are able to source matching West fabric directly from them.

Meet another wonderful #BitsyBride! This is Lauren. She purchased a beautiful A-line modest wedding dress from us at Bitsy Bridal (Click here to make an appointment! ❤) and had it customized with flutter sleeves. Her dress is from the designer Saphia Blue and the style is Emerald.
Normally at Bitsy Bridal, we recommend in-house modest alterations to be done by our talented staff, however Lauren already had a seamstress in mind, so she chose to use them. That’s okay with us! We still ordered her new fabric directly from the designer to match her skirt to make sure that her flutter sleeves on her A-line modest wedding dress looked perfect.
Madi Lane is designed in Australia by Liz Young. This line encompasses every bohemian bride’s fantasy. The wedding dresses feature lace, flowing sleeves, long trains, and sometimes even capes. This boho lace wedding dress with sleeves has a cold-shoulder style detail, and a fit and flare silhouette. A fit and flare wedding dress from Madi Lane will hug your curves beautifully but allow you to hike through Moab, just like Beth.
These wedding dress sleeves also easily detach for an easy two-in-one look. Just pop them off, and snap them back on when you want them for pictures! This fit and flare wedding dress looks great on all shapes and sizes. As always, Madi Lane offers each gown in sizes 2-28, so Madi Lane is a great option if you are in need of a plus size wedding dress.

Meet our real-life #BitsyBride, Elise! Elise chose a modern crepe wedding dress, style 2105, from our ever-chic designer, Mikaella, here at Bitsy Bridal in Salt Lake City. In order to fit within LDS temple standards, Elise chose to customize her wedding dress with the designer to make it more modest, and keep it just as beautiful.
How did we make this modern crepe wedding dress modest?
Mikaella‘s style is chic and simple. Their quality is nearly unmatched for the price. Because of this high quality production, our shop trusts the Mikaella design team to do customization for our #BitsyBrides. Our extremely talented and experienced in-house alterations team is skilled at these extensive alterations as well, however sometimes it is best to let the designer do it for us. Sometimes this saves the bride time and money! This was the case for Elise and her modern crepe wedding dress.
The original design of 2105 features a wide boat-neck and a plunging V-back. With the help of Mikaella, we seamlessly brought the neckline in on either side, and raised the back. This honored Elise’s religious standards beautifully.
Check out how the dress started:
Here you can see the major change made to the back of Elise’s dress:
Meet Skylar, our real #BitsyBride. Skylar chose a lace fitted wedding dress, Rosalind, from our designer Ella Rosa, a favorite here at Bitsy Bridal. Rosalind is a traditional style wedding dress that features corded Alencon- style lace on tulle over a layer of Chantilly lace. This layering of lace creates a multi-dimensional look on Skylar’s perfect wedding gown. Many brides picture themselves on their wedding day in that traditional sparkly, lacy wedding gown and we are so happy that we achieved that vision for Skylar. Click here so we can do the same for you!
About the designer of this lace, fitted wedding dress:
Ella Rosa is the little sister of Kenneth Winston. Kenneth Winston offers their main line, Kenneth Winston Couture, and Ella Rosa. Ella Rosa still features the traditional charm of the KW main line, but with softer features such as less heavy embellishments, and a lower price point. Some brides do not want heavy beading and crystals, and Ella Rosa is the perfect line for them.
Skylar’s pup loves her wedding dress as much as she does! The hem of this wedding gown features Alencon-style lace appliques that take this look to a whole new level! The appliques layered over the middle layer of lace creates a delicate wow factor. Look at that gorgeous hem on the train, and that cute doggy face!
Are you looking for a wedding dress like Skylar’s wedding dress? We can find you the perfect traditional, charming wedding dress at our shop!
Many Utah brides need their perfect dress to be LDS temple modest…
And that’s why so many Utah Brides choose to be a #BitsyBride! Here at Bitsy Bridal, we help those high-fashion brides wear the high-end wedding gown of their dreams. Every bride has dreamed of getting married in a legendary Lazaro wedding dress. 😉 He doesn’t make his wedding dresses modest straight off of production, but fortunately for our #BitsyBride Berkeley, we are able to source fabric directly from him. Every piece of fabric is a perfect match. This way, we made her wedding dress (and the wedding dress of countless other brides) an LDS temple modest Lazaro wedding gown. (Click here to make an appointment to discuss your custom modest needs!)
Where do we start with custom LDS temple build ups?
And here is a closer look at the final LDS temple modest Lazaro wedding gown, altered and designed by our talented in-house alterations staff. As you can see, this modest wedding dress ended up being comfortable, fun, and mom approved!
Meet our real-life, #BitsyBride, Becca! She wanted a flowy, low back wedding gown, and that’s what we gave her!
Our beautiful bride, Becca, chose Star by Kelly Faetanini as her wedding dress here at Bitsy Bridal in Salt Lake City, Utah. (Click here to make an appointment!) This ivory, low back wedding gown features a beaded bodice, spaghetti straps, a flowy tulle ballgown cut skirt, and a horsehair hem. This gown floats beautifully around our bride because of the many layers of tulle in the ballgown skirt.
Here is a little bit about Kelly Faetanini gowns:
Kelly has a dress for every bride! She has a flowy, low back wedding dress Star. (Star is also available as a blush wedding gown or a blue wedding gown). However she also has a sleek and sexy low back wedding gown like Tamora (another favorite here at Bitsy Bridal). And she has every dress in-between! We love Kelly Faetanini because brides love her!
Here are the alternate colors of the Star gown:
As you can see, Star is beautiful in any of these colors. The beaded, embroidered bodice really compliments the low back and flowy skirt on this gown. Star in Ivory is more traditional and classic. Star in Blush is sweet and romantic, and Star in Blue is moody and modern. Oh and did I mention? IT HAS POCKETS! Make an appointment at Bitsy Bridal and fall in love with the Kelly Faetanini gown of your dreams. ❤
We picked up the line back in February 2020 before the whole covid thing happens via private showing from the designer. We are so grateful because both Chicago Bridal Market in March and New York Bridal Fashion Week were canceled and the new line business was halted.
We were supposed to do a big giant debut with fashion show and everything at our shop during the 2020 summer but looking like crowds are a bad idea right now…. 😀
So why not call in the gowns and do a little roll out. We truly are very excited about this designer. As you know, Madi Lane’s quality and designs are impeccable. So it’s only fitting to bring in her little sister who is a boho babe at heart.
All the Evie and Madi new gowns are arriving in August 2020 for 2021 brides but we couldn’t wait. We wanna show them to 2020 brides to do a little promotion since we get to reopen the shop on May 1st.

This beautiful bride wore “Pepper” from Blush by Hayley Paige. Blush expresses the same designs that Hayley Paige is known for, but at a more cost effective price point. Pepper fits the mold of being edgy, but with classic bridal vibes.
Pepper features a bodice made from Hayley Paige’s gorgeous Marrakesh beading fabric. The sweetheart neckline and low back have a scalloped detail that gives a feminine look. The straps are a delicate spaghetti strap that run into the low V-shaped back. The ivory Marrakesh beading stops at the natural waist and then is followed by a full tulle skirt. This tulle is cut into cascading layers and edged with horsehair trim.
Maiya decided to keep Pepper in its original form. However, the sample gown she purchased was several sizes too big for her. She worked with our in-house alterations team to resize this gown and have it fit her perfectly. During this process, we needed to take in the bodice by several inches. This task required our seamstress to bring it in and rematch the beading patterns. This gave the gown a finished look, and masked the fact that this gown was once too large. Once the bodice fit her correctly, we were able to focus on hemming the gown to her height. Maiya opted to not add anymore details to her gown.
Only a week late to write about our Madi Lane designer wedding dress trunk show happening right now. I have to say wedding season simply have gotten the best of me for sure!.

This beautiful bride wore “Rosalind” by Ella Rosa. The Ella Rosa collection is designed by Kenneth Winston, and his elegant flair shines through. Rosalind is stunning combination of two well known features in bridal and becomes a beautiful lace and beaded wedding gown.
Rosalind features corded Alencon Lace over a layer of Chantilly Lace. The Alencon Lace begins as a heavy lace on the bodice and trickles down the skirt to show off the Chantilly lace underneath. This breath-taking double layer of lace is a showstopper in any venue or setting. However, this style is breathtaking in Bryndi’s Log Haven venue. Rosalind’s v-neckline has a sweetheart lining that will compliment all brides and their best assets. The stunning low back shows off a see-through layer of lace that gives the illusion of a larger open back. The spaghetti straps of this gown bring a delicate feeling to the construction of Rosalind. Finally, the details on this gown are stunning! The beading is placed throughout the top layer, and sparkles in all angles. The buttons down the back finish off the entire look. This beaded wedding gown is one-of-a-kind in its details and construction.
Bryndi decided to keep Rosalind in its original form. However, she worked with our in-house alterations to get this gown to fit her perfectly. Our alterations team’s talents range from a complete build up to a nip and tuck. Any bride can find what they are looking for during our in-house alterations.
Both of these stunning brides wore gowns from Ella Rosa by Kenneth Winston. Ella Rosa is designed by Kenneth Winston and includes the sparkle and attention to detail found in his couture collection. Lauraine wore “Riley” and Caitlin wore “Rosalind”. These brides came in separately to pick their gowns to keep them a surprise from one another. However, they both unknowingly decided on the same designer!
Riley is a ballgown that features a sweetheart neckline and ruched bodice. The satin belt sits around the natural waist to emphasize the smallest part of a bride. This belt is accompanied by a beaded floral design. The English Netting gives this gown a romantic feel and allows for a lot of movement. Buttons down the length of the gown finish off the look of Riley. Lauraine chose a light gold color, but Riley is also available in traditional ivory.
Rosalind is a fitted gown that features a double layer of lace. The top layer is an Alencon lace that begins heavy in the bodice and trickles down the skirt. The next layer is a Chantilly lace that brings a sense of romance and delicacy to the look. Rosalind’s v-neckline has a sweetheart lining that will flatter all bust sizes. The stunning low back shows off a see-through layer of lace that gives the illusion of a larger open back. Finally, Rosalind has some incredible detail to finish off the look. The beading throughout the gown allows for a little bit of glimmer without being too overpowering. Also, the buttons down the back give a similar feel to Riley, but stop mid-skirt to compliment the fit of the gown.
Jadie Jo Photography did a fantastic job at capturing these brides in their gowns on their special day.
This radiant bride wore “Cedra” by Aire Barcelona. This designer does a beautiful job at creating timeless pieces with a bit of Spanish flair, and this blush ballgown is a great example of this.
Cedra is a show stopper as a light blush ballgown. This dress features pleats in the waist that give the skirt a dimensional look. The off-the-shoulder neckline highlights the femininity of the bride, while the gentle dip in the back shows a more sensual side. Cedra has a few small fabric buttons that run the length of the bodice and stop just above the pleated skirt. This gown has the hidden detail of pockets! This pockets provide options for a beautiful photo opportunity, or to place to put your small accessories. A beaded floral belt finishes this unique look.
Take a peek at the original belt for Cedra.
Here is also a look at the back of this amazing wedding gown.
Kristie chose to keep this dress in its original form, but did opt for a larger belt to bring more sparkle to the look. This belt was matched with the same fabric and material as the gown, so it created a seamless look. She worked with our alterations team to fit this gown to her perfectly. Our in-house alterations services can range from a complete modest build up to a simple hem. Each bride has the freedom to customize her wedding look.
This beautiful bride wore Portia by Kelly Faetanini. This New York designer’s talent ranges from sleek and elegant to whimsical and edgy. No matter your taste, you can find a gown in one of Kelly’s stunning collections.
Portia features black Chantilly lace covering the bodice and creating delicate long sleeves. The plunging v-neckline is complemented with illusion mesh and black satin trimming. The ivory satin skirt pops against the darkness of the bodice and creates a chic look. Fabric buttons that transition color down the back finishes this stunning gown. Portia also comes in an ivory option for more of a traditional look.
Although Taylor opted to keep Portia in its original form, she worked with our seamstress and our in-house alterations to get this gown to fit like a glove. Taylor wanted a little bit of sparkle in this classic gown and added a jeweled belt to this look.
