Our Bride Jill

Meet our Bitsy Bride, Jill.

This magnificent bride wore “Wendy” by Kenneth Winston. This designer does a brilliant job at classic sparkle, and Wendy’s detail is tribute to that. With the help of our alterations team, Jill was able to wear a beautiful beaded modest dress.

This gown began as a sleeveless sheath gown with finger-width straps and a low rounded back. Wendy’s neckline mimics a sweetheart look, but has a mesh detail that gives it more of a v-neckline. This stunning gown is beaded throughout in a diamond pattern and radiates a Gatsby feeling. The entire look is finished off with a small train of the same gorgeous beading.

Take a look at how Wendy began.

Jill worked with our alterations team to turn this beaded beauty into a modest piece of art. Our seamstress needed to do a complete rebuild of the bodice to turn it into a modest wedding gown. When a bride needs a complete rebuild, we start by drawing out a design that works with her vision. Then, we build a rough model of the new bodice, once the bride approves we can begin attaching it to the skirt and adding the necessary embellishments. For Jill this meant creating a scoop back that sat high on the back and a v-neckline. Finally, Jill went with a small cap sleeve to complete this brand new bodice. The new creation was beaded with the same design and detail that the skirt has. With the help of our alterations team, Jill was able to wear a stunning beaded modest dress.

Tamara Jennings Photography did an amazing job at capturing Jill in her custom gown during her bridals.
