Meet our real-life #BitsyBride, Elise! Elise chose a modern crepe wedding dress, style 2105, from our ever-chic designer, Mikaella, here at Bitsy Bridal in Salt Lake City. In order to fit within LDS temple standards, Elise chose to customize her wedding dress with the designer to make it more modest, and keep it just as beautiful.

How did we make this modern crepe wedding dress modest?

Mikaella‘s style is chic and simple. Their quality is nearly unmatched for the price. Because of this high quality production, our shop trusts the Mikaella design team to do customization for our #BitsyBrides. Our extremely talented and experienced in-house alterations team is skilled at these extensive alterations as well, however sometimes it is best to let the designer do it for us. Sometimes this saves the bride time and money! This was the case for Elise and her modern crepe wedding dress.

The original design of 2105 features a wide boat-neck and a plunging V-back. With the help of Mikaella, we seamlessly brought the neckline in on either side, and raised the back. This honored Elise’s religious standards beautifully.
